As part of your employer's IT benefit program, dedicom GmbH is hosting a contest and is giving away high-quality IT products.

Only the following terms and conditions apply to the execution of the contest.

1. Organizer of the contest

2. Contest

All employees participating in the Forms survey are eligible to enter the drawing and have the opportunity to win high-quality IT products.If you do not wish to participate in the contest, please notify us at the following email address:

Participation in the contest is free of charge.
Each eligible participant may only enter the drawing once.
The prizes will be drawn after the end of the promotion period.
Legal recourse is excluded with respect to a claim for a prize.

3. Prize / Determination of Winner / Prize Delivery

High-quality IT products will be raffled off as prizes in the contest. A cash payout of the prize value or an exchange of the prize is excluded. The claim to the prize is non-transferable.
Winners will be determined by a random drawing of all eligible participants. Winners will be informed via email to the email address provided in the Forms survey.
dedicom will send the prizes to the email address provided by the winners in the Forms survey.

4. Miscellaneous

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany exclusively applies.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, the remaining conditions shall remain unaffected.

The applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), are decisive for the processing of your personal data.
Regarding the processing of personal data when accessing the order portal, ordering articles, and for the execution of your employer's IT benefit program, the data protection information that you can find in the order shop applies.
The processing of personal data within the scope of your employer's IT benefit program is not affected by the terms and conditions of this "Contest Data Protection Information".

2. Processing of personal data within the scope of the contest

We use the Microsoft Forms tool for participation in the contest survey. The email address of the participants is initially processed for conducting the contest to determine and contact the winners. In the event of winning, the name and delivery address are additionally collected to enable the prize dispatch. The legal basis for processing the email address of eligible participants is our interest in conducting the contest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The legal basis for collecting the winner's name and address is (according to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for contractual fulfillment for prize delivery.
Your personal data will be used exclusively for these purposes and deleted after the statutory retention period has expired. No further use for advertising or profiling takes place.
Your data will be processed exclusively within the European Union.

3. Data processing when contacting dedicom

When contacting dedicom, the data you provide (e.g. your email address, your address, your name, your phone number, and your concern) are stored and processed to process your inquiry. The processing here takes place in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual fulfillment or in our interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data related to the contest will be deleted when storage is no longer necessary unless there is a statutory retention obligation. Personal data will therefore be deleted at the latest upon the expiration of the statutory retention periods.

4. Transfer of personal data

We transfer the name and delivery address of the winners to a supplier and/or carrier (e.g. DHL) for the delivery of the prizes. We process your personal data in a data center with whose operator we have concluded an order processing agreement to protect your data in accordance with Article 28 GDPR guidelines. The data center is based in Germany and processes the data only within the European Union. Technically, the data are processed via the Microsoft Forms survey tool (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.). Microsoft has an order processing contract in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR; data processing is exclusively within the EU. No transfer to other third parties takes place.

5. Deletion of your data in connection with the contest

The data collected in connection with the contest will be deleted after storage and processing are no longer necessary, provided there are no statutory retention obligations. At the latest, the data will be deleted upon the expiration of the statutory retention periods. To the extent that your personal data are necessary or useful for conducting your employer's IT benefit program, we will continue to process this data. In this respect, the data protection information for the order portal, including the dedicom account, applies.

6. Your rights

Regarding the personal data collected and processed, you have the following rights against dedicom:

The legal basis for your rights is Articles 7, 15-22 GDPR, granted to you pursuant to these regulations. If necessary, you can contact dedicom GmbH as the responsible party or their data protection officer to exercise your rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data (see below).

7. Withdrawal from the contest

If you do not wish to participate in the prize draw or wish to withdraw your entry, you can inform us at any time at the following email address:

8. Revocation of a consent

If you have given consent for the processing of certain personal data, you also have the right to revoke your consent at any time for the future. Send the revocation to one of the addresses mentioned above.

As far as we process personal data in connection with the prize draw based on our legitimate interest, you can object to this processing at any time (Art. 21 GDPR).

10. Consequences of a revocation or an objection

A revocation or an objection does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data up to the revocation or objection.
